Obviously the location thing has struck a chord with a huge number of developers, as there are a pile of apps in the app store that utilize the GPS -- and a bunch of startups that have sprung up hoping to own this space (all to likely be trumped by Google, ultimately).

At the August User meeting, we invite iPhone 3G owners to join us and give us their feedback on their experiences so far and also share any tips and tricks they'd like to share. As of Monday, August 11th, 2008, Steve Jobs was quoted in a WSJ interview that over 60 million iPhone Apps have been downloaded since the launch of the store.

We meet the fourth Tuesday of each month at MIT in Cambridge MA in MIT room 3-133, and welcome developers of all PDA persuasions.
